The Department of Human Performance, Division of Communication Sciences and Disorders at West Virginia University (WVU) is seeking a full-time, non-tenure track (12-month) Assistant Professor of Audiology to contribute to a well-established program with a tradition of excellence in teaching, scholarship and service at the Assistant Professor rank. The successful candidate will contribute to the mission of WVU and the program in Communication Sciences and Disorders housed within the School of Medicine.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality teaching, and participate in clinical practice. In addition, the faculty member will provide instruction to students at the undergraduate and graduate level. Individuals with expertise in cochlear implants, pediatric (re)habilitation, adult audiologic (re)habilitation, and vestibular assessment and intervention, but expertise in all aspects of the field of Audiology will be considered. The successful candidate will also contribute to a department culture of collegiality, collaboration, and trust; will promote and demonstrate innovation and resourcefulness, and will seek to promote partnerships within the department, community, and other related programs. Active engagement in departmental, university, and professional service activities is also expected. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Qualifications :

Applicants must meet the following criteria for consideration:
• West Virginia Audiology license or eligible for a West Virginia Audiology license
• Must hold current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A)
• Has (3) three years of clinical experience

All qualifications must be met by the time of the appointment.
