Job Summary

The Facilities Management Department is seeking an applicant to provide web development, graphic design, and related general application design creation and support. Under minimal supervision, the individual will be responsible for maintaining and updating the overall look and feel of the Facilities Management Website as well as supporting the design functions of various other public facing applications maintained in our department.

While reporting to the IT Manager, this individual will also be required to work very closely with the Facilities Management Marketing Department to receive content and instruction on areas to be produced or maintained as part of our website.

Essential Functions

The individual will be expected to have extensive knowledge in a variety of Web Development languages. Daily required skills would include the use of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS in the development of both the web site and other web facing application content.

Additional duties would include the use of Cascade as our primary Web Development application. An emerging area of responsibilities will be assisting in the creation of internal and external facing web enabled dashboards created from within Qlik, our data analytics application.
Additionally, knowledge in the use of php and velocity would be useful in order to support some of our existing web base applications.

This position may also be required to perform other IT duties that fall under the support role of our IT department including but not limited to application development, applications support, end user support, and end user training as required.

Level IV: 5 years. A typical salary range is between $55,000 and $65,000.

Requirements for Additional Job Levels

Level V: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and 5 years’ experience in troubleshooting, graphic and web site design, and programming
Level V has a typical salary range between $60,000 and $75,000.

Level VI: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and 7 years’ experience in troubleshooting, graphic and web site design, and programming.
The typical salary range is typically between $73,000 and $85,000.
