Responsibilities

As part of the Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies team, the Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator assists the Director of Enrollment and Student Services in fulfilling the school's enrollment management plan by assisting with marketing, recruiting, and the application process from inquiry to admission. The Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator will represent the school at various outreach events including open houses, graduate school fairs, professional conferences, and targeted visits to institutions of higher education, treatment centers, and other relevant organizations. This position will also coordinate graduation activities including the ceremony and reception.
  • Represent Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School to convert qualified prospective students to qualified enrolled students
  • Assists in the implementation of an innovative enrollment management plan for the Graduate School
  • Participates, contributes, and completes tasks that relate to the school's metrics and assessment plan and other operational processes
  • Coordinates graduation activities
  • Assure a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, guests, and visitors


Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service over the phone, in person and through electronic forms of communication
  • Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • High level of experience and competence in business software (i.e., Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Two to four years high level customer service experience
  • Ability to work with individuals from diverse background

Preferred:
  • Event planning experience
  • Understanding of and appreciation for the field of addiction counseling and related areas
  • Experience working in sales related field with account management skills
