Dartmouth College seeks an Associate Director for Athletics Fundraising to work with the Managing Director of Athletics Fundraising to execute a comprehensive strategy to raise the maximum current-use dollars for Dartmouth College Athletics. The Associate Director will be responsible for solicitation and stewardship activities as well as recruiting, training, and coaching volunteers. In addition, the Associate Director will work with the Managing Director to execute an integrated operations plan for marketing and communications.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree with at least five years of progressive fundraising experience, preferably in an annual fund setting or a higher education, athletics campaign environment. Demonstrated success in soliciting, closing and stewardship of gifts, and volunteer management experience with high-level volunteers such as trustees and advisory boards preferred. Marketing and communications experience is helpful along with strong technical aptitude for working with database applications and software tools, and ability to quickly learn new applications. This position requires a dedicated, self-motivated, and results-oriented development professional with strong leadership, analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills as well as knowledge of college athletics.
