Description of Duties:  The Director of Transfer Services works collaboratively with faculty and staff of Elizabeth City State University and area community colleges to promote and deliver a seamless educational transition process
for students transferring from community colleges. The position is responsible for the coordination and implementation of student recruitment, enrollment plans, and strategies designed to increase transfer student enrollment and student success at ECSU.  

Position requires strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with administrators, faculty and students; ability to write reports; strong computer skills; and effective organizational skills and customer services skills. Possess an interest in working with a diverse population of students. Position requires extensive travel to targeted recruitment sites.

Requirements:  Master’s degree with demonstrable experience of 2-5 years in admissions, liaison work with community colleges, and four-year college transfer programs required. A familiarity with technology as it relates to transfer student recruitment is essential.
