Schreiner University seeks applications for a 1 year, with possibility of renewal, Visiting Assistant Professor of Accounting. Duties and responsibilities of faculty members at the university include teaching, scholarship, service, and professional activities. The successful candidate must be able to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in the areas of financial and managerial accounting, advanced accounting, cost accounting, taxation, and auditing.

Full-time faculty have responsibilities for student advising, service, and professional development in addition to teaching responsibilities.

Desired Qualifications:

Ph.D. in accounting or a closely related field or ABD with completion no later than August 2021,
a valid CPA license, prior teaching experience, and practical experience in public or corporate accounting.

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff
