Reporting to the Director of Stewardship, the Administrative Assistant II for Stewardship provides office management, technical support, clerical support, event support, and reporting support for the Stewardship Office.

Education/Skills Requirements

Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent required, college coursework preferred. Strong word processing, data entry, proof reading, communication, social and organizational skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel. Willingness and ability to learn specialized applications such as Raiser’s Edge. Willingness and ability to learn digital and social media applications. Willingness and ability to manage several projects at once, meet deadlines, attend to details, and work independently. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to be a team player.

Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents

Required: Prior experience in a professional office environment. Prior experience with Raiser’s Edge, digital media, and social media preferred. Knowledge and understanding of liberal arts college mission and environment in general, and Bowdoin in particular, preferred.

Standard Work Days and Hours

Monday-Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. Occasional nights and weekends.
