Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Nutrition, or similar degree field.
  • Experience in managing and participating in research projects.
  • Capable of measuring aerobic and anaerobic fitness, body composition, and strength.
License/Certification Required

CPR / AED required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the recruitment, management, and testing of research subjects in projects being conducted at the ASU - NCRC Human Performance Laboratory.
Management of the ASU - NCRC Human Performance Laboratory includes exercise testing and measurement, and exercise prescription of community individuals and athletes.
This position also conduct assays in the ASU - NCRC Exercise Biochemistry Laboratory.

Duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage all aspects of data collection during research projects.
  • Maintain the equipment in the Human Performance Lab.
  • Supervise interns.
  • Maintain study participants records with IRB retention/archive schedules.
Suggested Salary Range $50,000-$60,000 Physical Demands of Position

Medium physical demands including, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Close visual acuity to perform activities; prepare and analyze data; transcribe; view computer; extensively read; visually inspect small defects & parts; operate & inspect machines; use of measurement devices; assemble parts, also required.
