Position Summary:

This position serves as the administrative assistant to several leadership positions within the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. This position will support the work of the Division Administrator, Section Head of Hepatology, Department of Medicine Vice Chair for Quality and Safety, and the Medical Director of Meriter Gastroenterology/Department of Medicine Director of Wellbeing. The position provides executive level leadership support to support these leaders in the successful completion of their varied academic and administrative responsibilities.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Experience providing executive leadership support in a healthcare, academic or other professional setting strongly preferred. Experience in meeting and event planning preferred.

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty and staff
- Ability to work independently and solve problems, and to recognize where discretion/review is needed in sharing confidential/sensitive information.
