Job Summary/Basic Function
Basic Job Responsibilities:
• Teaching residential courses in the Department of Public and Community Health in global health/health promotion in the Public Health Program
• Responsibilities require a 24-30 hour teaching load including courses in nutrition, health promotion and other public health related subjects
• Participation in departmental and school committees
• Training and planning sessions as assigned
• Collaboration with other faculty members to develop and sustain the BS in PH and MPH programs
• Advising students as needed
• Maintenance of currency in the academic field through appropriate participation in conferences, professional associations, and/or research endeavors
• Performance of other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Terminal degree in Public Health and university teaching experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates must be committed to the evangelical standards and mission of Liberty University.
Work Hours
Varies based on teaching schedule and load.
