The Manager of Retention & Registration oversees campus-wide retention efforts and day-to-day operations of course registration functions.  The position has a central responsibility for leadership in providing effective and efficient onboarding services for new students and proactive and intrusive retention efforts for all students. 


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  Master’s degree in counseling, education, psychology, or related field required; minimum of five years of experience in higher education; minimum one to three years supervision experience preferred. Preference is given to candidates that have experience in a community college academic advising and/or student services setting.


SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  Strong relationship building, academic advising and administrative skills necessary; planning skills; ability to implement student support services to a diverse population; supervisory and budgetary skills; ability to communicate and interact with a variety of staff, students, and community leaders; ability to access data from student system and computer proficiency.
