Department Summary

Position Summary
The Women's Basketball Director of Creativity/Student-Athlete Support will be responsible for several crucial aspects of sustaining the success of the Oregon Women's Basketball program. This position is responsible for coordinating, creating, implementing, and maintaining graphic elements and video production through numerous social media platforms required for women's basketball recruiting in conjunction with the department's communications, marketing and compliance offices.
The person in this position will develop, implement, analyze, and improve the student-athlete development program to assist student-athletes both on and off the court. They will mentor and provide a support system for engagement and personal growth for the women's basketball student-athletes. They will manage and implement all aspects of on-campus recruitment efforts for prospective student-athletes for the women's basketball program.
The Women's Basketball Director of Creativity/Student-Athlete Support is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program, including adherence to all department policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the university, Pac-12 conference and the NCAA.
Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree.
- Combined five years of experience: DI collegiate
basketball/professional basketball playing experience or working in
a similar role in DI college athletics.
Professional Competencies - Creative and innovative.

- Understanding of NCAA rules and regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight
deadlines.
- Ability to work on both PC and Mac platforms.
- Exceptional ability to work in a networked way, emphasizing
collaboration in a complex environment.
- Ability to perform detail-oriented work accurately and to
communicate effectively with a diverse population.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication
skills and the ability to multi-task and respond to immediate needs
while managing day-to-day activities.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience in DI, Power 5 Athletics
- Ability to build strong relationships with all
constituents.
