About the Opportunity:
The Manager, Administration & Employee Experience is an essential member of the College of Professional Studies (CPS) administration and human resources unit. The manager reports to and works closely with the Assistant Dean for Administration and Employee Experience to deliver a wide range of human resources and employee engagement initiatives to faculty and staff within CPS.

Responsibilities:
This position provides full-cycle human resources support in functional areas including talent acquisition/recruitment, employment processing, training and development, records management, onboarding, policy implementation, performance management, employee relations, and off-boarding. The manager is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level, working closely with CPS leadership, and partnering with central human resources to promote an engaged, inclusive workplace community. The manager will gather and analyze workforce trend data to identify and recommend areas for strategic improvement. The manager will employ excellent organizational and project management skills to design, develop, implement, and evaluate value-add initiatives and processes that aim to offer a high-quality employee experience and promote a positive organizational culture. This position will work closely and proactively with department managers, faculty, and staff to ensure that they have the training and resources they need to be successful in their roles. The manager will collaborate with the Assistant Dean on matters related to organizational development and workforce planning.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, ideally in human resources, business administration, project management or related field. Advanced degree preferred or significant direct experience. Minimum 5-7 years of human resources experience. Higher Education experience a plus. High level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism required. The incumbent must be able to work as part of a team; analyze and develop solutions to complex issues; have the ability to develop productive and respectful interpersonal relationships; demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and project management skills; be highly organized and detail oriented; be committed to excellence in customer service; have demonstrated skills in taking initiative, being proactive, innovative, and forward thinking; be committed to fostering a positive and inclusive organizational culture; and have the ability to handle multiple priorities. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Familiarity with a human capital/talent management system preferred.
