The Department of Restorative Sciences, University of Alabama School of Dentistry, invites applicants for a full-time, non-tenure-earning faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor.  Qualified candidates should have a D.M.D./D.D.S. or equivalent degree.  Advanced training in general dentistry is preferred. This position is in collaboration with the Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases, and will be located at the 1917 Dental Clinic whose mission is to provide compassionate and comprehensive care for persons living with HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) Infection. The successful candidate will provide high quality general dentistry to promote optimal oral healthcare for a diverse adult patient population, and participate in an interdisciplinary professional culture through interactions with the medical community to appropriately provide care to this unique population. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
