Position Summary:
This position serves as the Center for Health Disparities Administrative Director within the School of Medicine. The CHDR Associate Director, unspecified, will report to the CHDR Director and work closely with other PIs involved in collaborative health disparities research within the University of Wisconsin-Madison and across academic institutions. The Administrator will be responsible for the overall research portfolio across multiple large and institutional diverse grants. This includes overseeing multiple grant operations, Medicare CMS data acquisitions, management and development of administrative and research staff, coordinating the CHDR consortiums, and managing the execution of grant outcomes.
The Associate Director, unspecified, will be tasked with oversight of all related studies, informatics, research grant collaborations, etc., to ensure consistency across the program and work with all collaborators to bolster the success of CHDR.

Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, marketing, health care administration, health sciences or related field required. Master's Degree preferred.
Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:
Minimum 6-8 years of relevant professional experience required within community research and/or multi-site NIH-funded grant awards is required, including pre- and post-award management. Experience in translational, clinical, or health services research is required. Minimum 6-8 years of leadership, managerial and supervisory experience is required, including demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external faculty and staff members to accomplish organizational/project goals. Experience developing and implementing diversity, equity and inclusion program initiatives is preferred.
Additional Information:
The CHDR Administrative Director will work collaboratively with the CHDR Director and Leaders to develop a framework of science to effectively communicate and implement CHDR priorities and initiatives. They will also provide strategic guidance and support in the areas of academic leadership, strategic planning, project management and process improvement.
