Administrative Specialist

 

The E. Craig Wall College of Business Administration is accepting applications for an Administrative Specialist in the Department of Management and Decision Sciences.

 

Duties include, but are not limited to: provide support for faculty instruction activities; reserve equipment and rooms; maintain faculty schedules, contact information and syllabi; manage departmental operations by assisting the Department Chair; control access to facilities; generate mass mailings; maintain accurate files for advising and registration using Colleague; maintain office supplies; maintain travel budget, purchasing and travel cards; schedule faculty committee meetings; take and distribute minutes; maintain files; provide support for faculty research; coordinate college level activities; support the assessment data collection work of the assessment coordinator; provide exceptional customer service to all constituents including faculty, staff, students, visitors and the community at large; and other duties as assigned.

 

 

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and two (2) years of secretarial/clerical experience is required.  Equivalent education, training, and experience will be considered.  Previous experience in a university or school setting is preferred.
