The Department of Biology at Saint Mary’s College (Notre Dame,
IN) invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of
Biology beginning August, 2021. The Department is seeking a scholar
in the field of physiology, with a strong commitment to teaching in
an undergraduate liberal arts environment. The candidate’s primary
responsibility will be to teach a six-course load, which will
include courses in general physiology and human pathophysiology.
Interest in mentoring undergraduate research in physiology; an
emphasis on exercise physiology or kinesiology is preferred but not
required. A strong commitment to diversity and inclusion,
undergraduate education of women, a liberal arts education, and
service to the department and the College is expected.
Ph.D. required. ABD will be considered. Teaching
experience expected. Starting date is August 16, 2021.
