Visiting Assistant Professor - Biology - Physiology

The Department of Biology at Saint Mary’s College (Notre Dame, IN) invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology beginning August, 2021. The Department is seeking a scholar in the field of physiology, with a strong commitment to teaching in an undergraduate liberal arts environment. The candidate’s primary responsibility will be to teach a six-course load, which will include courses in general physiology and human pathophysiology. Interest in mentoring undergraduate research in physiology; an emphasis on exercise physiology or kinesiology is preferred but not required. A strong commitment to diversity and inclusion, undergraduate education of women, a liberal arts education, and service to the department and the College is expected. 

Ph.D. required.  ABD will be considered.  Teaching experience expected.  Starting date is August 16, 2021. Classes begin on August 23, 2021.
