The Dartmouth for Life team is hiring! Our new Assistant Director will help Alumni Relations provide our alumni with opportunities to engage with each other and with Dartmouth through innovative programming, resources, and services focused on their career and professional interests. Through the collaborative work of our team, we will continue to grow and refine our programming, including the innovative Dartmouth Connect platform and career hub that connects our alumni (including new graduates!) in areas of career support, professional development, job opportunities, and mentorship. Looking ahead, our event programming such as the Future of Work will transition to a blend of virtual and live events where your event management skills will be called upon in areas of marketing, venue and vendor management, and other important event-related details that support the Alumni Relations branding and mission.

Our new Assistant Director will join a team that is dedicated to the work of Alumni Relations and the cultivation of our alumni in the life of the College and with each other. Division-wide, Advancement has a strong commitment to diversity and in supporting the needs of a diverse community. As our new colleague, you will have a Bachelor's degree and four years of experience in event or program management, or the equivalent. Experience in career services programming is a plus! Your ability to motivate and work effectively with volunteers, groups, and individuals will enhance our work, as will your creative planning, effective communications, and problem-solving skills. Experience in marketing, as well as in areas such as budgeting or financial management will be helpful. Our work is team driven and collaborative and is supported, enhanced through technology such as Microsoft Office, email marketing software, and community-based connection platforms such as PeopleGrove.
