The Department of Mathematical Sciences at DePaul University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track position starting September 1, 2021. This faculty appointment is for one academic year, but may be renewed for consecutive appointments. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in mathematics or a closely related field.

The department seeks applicants who are strongly committed to teaching and to their ongoing development as educators.  The teaching load is three courses per quarter. DePaul University seeks applicants that reflect the diversity of its student body and the city of Chicago.  Applicants who have experience working with a diverse range of faculty, staff, and students, and who can contribute to an inclusive climate are encouraged to identify their experiences in these areas. Women and members of historically underrepresented groups are especially encouraged to apply.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in mathematics or a closely related field.

For full consideration, completed applications must be received by Friday, June 11, 2021, but the review process will continue until the positions are filled.  Applications should include a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, a teaching statement, and three letters of recommendation, at least one of which should provide documentation in support of teaching effectiveness. Applicants are also encouraged to supply additional evidence of teaching effectiveness, such as formal teaching evaluation summaries.
