The Department of Mathematical Sciences at DePaul University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track position starting September 1, 2021. This faculty appointment is for one academic year, but may be renewed for consecutive appointments. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in mathematics or a closely related field.
The department seeks applicants who are strongly committed to teaching and to their ongoing development as educators. The teaching load is three courses per quarter. Applications should include a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, a teaching statement, and three letters of recommendation, at least one of which should provide documentation in support of teaching effectiveness. Applicants are also encouraged to supply additional evidence of teaching effectiveness, such as formal teaching evaluation summaries.
