Rsch Regulatory Analyst II
Job Description:
Conduct review of IACUC protocol submissions, assist Principal Investigators/laboratory staff with protocol submissions, and serve as a liaison between the research community and the IACUC during protocol review
Coordinate all inter-institutional/memorandum of understanding collaborations
Assist with semiannual facility inspections
Assist with website management
Cross train and assist in other regulatory activities as needed
Expected Salary:
Salary commensurate with experience
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong preference for individuals with a proven track record as an IACUC coordinator, animal research lab manager, animal husbandry, or veterinarian technician.
Certification as an AALAS technician (ALAS, LAT, or LATG) or Certified Professional IACUC Administrator (CPIA) preferred.
Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, having the ability to interact with people from a wide range of scientific and medical experience.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access and other appropriate programs.
