Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3+ years of coaching or related experience.

License/Certification Required Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • As a member of the Athletics Department, the Senior Analyst must adhere to all policies and regulations and carry out any other duties that the Director of Athletics or head coach designates.
  • Keep abreast of changing rules, techniques, technologies, and philosophies relevant to NCAA concerning Football and recruiting.
  • Coordinate and implement the breakdown and analysis of coaching strategies of opponent.
  • Evaluate athletes’ skills and review performance records to determine strengths and weakness of that week’s opponent.
  • Coordinate, plan, develop, encourage and motivate student-athletes for each week’s game.
  • Analyze the team’s strengths and weaknesses and provide weekly reports to the Head Coach.
  • Assist in planning coaching and practice sessions in accordance with NCAA regulations.
  • Counsel assigned student athletes on academic, athletic, and personal issues.
  • Identify and recruit potential athletes by sending recruiting letters and meeting with recruits on-campus.
  • Coordinate scouting reports that detail player assessments.
  • Emphasize, support and monitor the educational activities of the student-athletes so as to help ensure that student-athletes’ progress toward a degree in a defined academic program.
  • Maintain effective relationships with student-athletes, peers, administrators, faculty, media representatives, and the general public; Work to integrate sports into the whole spectrum of academic life to complement the University and its mission in the community.
  • Attend weekly meetings to discuss recruiting efforts based upon position need, academic eligibility, and character integrity of prospective athletes.
Suggested Salary Range Commensurate with experience. Physical Demands of Position

This position will be subject to outside environmental conditions.

Weekend work is required.

Must be able to work long hours.
