The University now invites application for the following position:

 

 

The appointee will teach a wide range of undergraduate English language courses, offering non-credit bearing workshops on creative topics, and developing innovative English language electives.  The appointee will also be expected to contribute to programme development at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and the development of the English Language Centre housed under the Department of English. 

 

Applicants should possess a Master’s degree (preferably with a Doctoral degree) in English or related areas with teaching experience at the tertiary level. They are expected to incorporate new technology in their teaching.  Preference will be given to candidates who have the ability to teach courses and conduct research relating language to literature and culture.  The ability to secure external teaching or research grant will also be an advantage.
