Reporting to the Director of the Shared Service Center ( SSC ), the Human Resources Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for supporting the Shared Service Center in the areas of people, process, and technology. Ensure HR data quality, integrity, and compliance with State and Federal regulations. Develop and provide dashboards to HR leadership and University leaders. Ability to think ‘out of the box’ for solutions to deliver more efficient HR transactions including training and communication. Partner with SSC leadership to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPls) are at or above standards while striving to improve quality and customer experience. Interact cross functionally with Centers of Expertise (COEs), Senior HR Business Partners (SHRBPs), and Human Resources Information Technology ( HRIT ). Key responsibilities will include acting as a partner between HR and campus to deliver continuous improvement of HR systems and processes. Position will be responsible for ownership and integrity of HR master data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• Minimum of three (3) plus years’ experience in Human Resources in Shared Services or HR in mid to large organization required.
Specialized knowledge in HR Service Delivery, Benefits, HRIS, Compensation is preferred.

• Experience in HR data management, processes, queries, and analytics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR Shared Services Director and Manager to lead a comprehensive HR Shared Services Center.

• Establish and foster an environment of continuous improvement.

• Review and analyze operational metrics, data, and processes with the focus on enhancing the overall HR Shared Services operation.

• Provide recommendations and implementation plans to the HR Shared Services Director and Manager in the areas of people, metrics, reporting, and advanced and predictive analytics of HR data.

• Develop metrics on internal Shared Services Center performance to identify training needs and facilitate training opportunities.

• Review and improvement on current new employee training and ongoing training is critical.

• Provide dashboard reports to HR Leaders and University using HR data and metrics.

• Collaborate with Shared Services Manager and Shared Services Senior Advisors to develop and lead training for Shared Services staff.

• On an on-going basis, review and revise training materials and procedures to reflect best practices and shifting needs.

• Develop and oversee operational infrastructure including workflows, standard operating procedures, knowledge base, job aids and service level agreements to enable the team to deliver the highest level of service.

• Awareness of historical and current HR trends to inform team of institutional or industry changes is critical.

• Leadership of Shared Services team in tracking and performance of mandatory quality assurance reviews/audits.

• Ensure HR data quality and integrity as well as compliance with federal and state law and University policies.

• Overall integrity of HR master data will be controlled by this position.

• Position will be responsible for identification and building of additional audits to assure data integrity. Some audits may be performed by this individual while others will require training and oversight of team.

• Write moderately complex queries of HR and vendor systems and run and execute pre-written queries.

• Exhibit mastery of data sufficient to error check and validate key data sets.

• Provide “super user” expertise of all relevant HR systems.
