Position Summary

Enterprise Application is a support unit within the Information Administrative Technology Services department at Slippery Rock University of PA. Enterprise Applications supports the mission of the university by developing, coordinating, and managing application software systems that provide critical information services for university constituents. SRU is seeking motivated individuals interested in using technology to solve business problems within a dynamic evolving technical environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Information Technology, Computer Science or a closely related field
Experience working in a diverse population
Successful performance in an interview

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated experience with the development of web applications, processes, and/or reports that use a database system.
Demonstrated experience using modern development and design methodologies in one or more programming language.
Experience with business processes and applications supporting higher education
Experience working with Ellucian (formerly SunGard HE) Banner systems
Experience using one or more programming languages to perform database queries, modifications, and database transactions
Experience with Oracle SQL and PL/ SQL development
Exposure to business process analysis and requirements gathering concepts
Exposure to systems analysis concepts
Exposure to relational database concepts
Exposure to one or more modern object-oriented programming language
Demonstrated skills in working effectively in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
