Job Summary
Manages and develops programming and/or events to engage community partners with the College; coordinates education and enrichment opportunities for the citizens of Tarrant County.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Assists in executing and/or managing special projects for the department, particularly programming to promote community enrichment and engagement with community partners, adults, and youth/children
• Meets with community partners to discover relationship opportunities
• Assists in executing and/or managing internal and external events
• Coordinates the development and implementation of program/project goals and objectives, and performs research and analysis in support of assignments
• Partners with internal departments, stakeholders, and external clients on tactics and strategic planning efforts to produce successful and cost effective programs and events
• Takes lead as the point of contact for scheduling of events, contract coordination, line item negotiation, and communication amongst internal and external clients and stakeholders
• Provides coordination, direction, and/or supervision of staff for programs and/or events; evaluates issues; researches alternative solutions; and provides recommendations
• Provides resource management to the department and briefs and informs the Director
• Assists in the planning, developing, and promoting of ways to improve community engagement programs
• Manages special event budget; works with internal fiscal department to ensure charges and billing are accurate and executed; manages the purchase and inventory of promotional marketing items for the institution
• Coordinates and cooperates with other administrators, staff, and District Human Resources
• Serves on committees as directed and attends appropriate professional meetings, conferences, and/or workshops
• Assists with marketing and webpage management
• May assist with coordination, management, and supervision of department employment activities including hiring, recruitment, training and payroll processes
• Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
• Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College ( TCC )
• Supports the values of the College: diversity, teaching excellence, student success, innovation and creativity and service to the College
• Supports the mission, values and 3 goals and 8 principles of the College

Required Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensures
• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
• Five (5) years related experience

• Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
Knowledge, Skills and Ability
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Experience with computerized systems
