GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Salesforce Administrator will support the ongoingdevelopment of the University’s Salesforce platform. The successful candidatewill have a record of supporting end users and improving processes and adoptionusing Salesforce and associated technologies. The administrator will workprimarily with the Enrollment and Admissions departments, supporting theircurrent needs and future growth. The Salesforce Administrator will beresponsible for day-to-day support, maintenance and improvement of the CRMplatform in collaboration with the Senior Salesforce Administrator andMarketing Automation Administrator. This role is a combination of businessanalyst, administrator and solutions architect.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide day to day Tier 2 end user support(including complex formulas and system maintenance) and assist users totroubleshoot issues and increase their knowledge of Salesforce.com.
Maintain security user roles and profiles,security settings, access settings etc. (User Profiles, Role Hierarchy, SharingRules and Security).
Perform data imports, fulfill ad hoc datarequests, data integrity and manipulation tasks such as merging duplicaterecords and establishing proper ownership of existing accounts and contacts.
Successfully create and maintain documentationon business processes, use and flow, and training materials.
Ability to test, package and deploy quality,scalable and well documented solutions on the Salesforce platform.
Ability to maintain and implement integrationsbetween Salesforce and other applications and systems.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May perform other duties andresponsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time.
POSITION IN ORGANIZATION

TECHNICAL, MANAGERIAL & PEOPLE SKILLS REQUIRED

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s degree or MBA is aplus
Minimum of one (1) years’ experience in thetechnology field
Experience in higher education in a universitysetting is highly preferred
Minimum 1 year demonstrated experience supporting Salesforce in an enterprise environment
Salesforce Admin Certification preferred
Experience in customizing and configuring COTS applications, including CRM applications
Experience with Lightning Experience and Lightning Components
Strong functional and technical documentation skills
Ability to rapidly research solutions to operational problems which have never been encountered before
Strong problem solving and analytic skills
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Position may be required to travel up to 10%
