Requisition Number: F00189P: School of Radiologic Sciences
Individual will be responsible for instruction and clinical evaluation of students in a dynamic interdisciplinary Diagnostic Medical, Cardiac, and/or Vascular Sonography and/or modalities which meet the applicant's professional credentials and expertise. The primary teaching responsibilities will be in (AAS) Radiography, LPT Certificate and/or the Masters of Radiologic Sciences (MSRS) programs. Additional responsibilities include DMS lab instruction, teaching, and clinical evaluation of students. Curriculum and program development in the School of Radiologic Sciences as needed. Travel will be required for professional development, teaching, and/or clinical evaluation.
The selected individual should be passionate about advancements in technology, patient care with a global understanding of imaging services. They must have an effective working relationships with personnel in affiliated clinical facilities and assist in the liaison and coordination between Clinical Education Centers and the School of Radiologic Sciences. Additionally, individual must participate in school, college, and university committees and meet all other requirements for tenure and promotion. Active participation within State, Regional, and National Professional organizations is also required.
An earned Master’s degree in Radiologic Sciences or a related field is required. Successful candidates must show progress toward completing a Doctoral degree program by year 3 of the tenure/promotion process for continued employment. Preference is given to individuals that obtained or are currently enrolled in a Doctoral program. Classroom teaching experience and/or teaching experience within a clinical setting is required.

Individuals should also have experience with the clinical evaluation of students. Preference will be given to individuals holding certification in the following areas: 1) Cardiac/Vascular Sonography 2) Medical Sonography, 3) interventional Cardiology. Additional points will be given for other advanced imaging certificates. Successful candidates should maintain professional registration/certifications and have working knowledge of research methods, imaging pathophysiology, statistical analysis, and sonographic principles and instrumentation.
