Kenyon College invites applications for the position of Senior Business Operations Manager for the Office of Admissions.  Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Operations and Technology, the Senior Business Operations Manager/CRM Specialist will serve as primary administrative and development manager of Kenyon’s core CRM platform, Technolutions Slate (or any future platform), and related technologies and systems. In addition, this application and systems specialist will provide support and training of the platform to current and future Enrollment staff and manage enhancements, troubleshooting, system maintenance, and system development.

Key Responsibilities

    Manage Kenyon’s day-to-day operational deployment of Technolutions’ Slate CRM platform, including Communications and Outreach; Event Management; Queries, Reporting, and Data Management; Automations and Integrations; Application, Evaluation, and Review. Gather business requirements and design/develop configurable features, such as forms. Perform annual updates to the online application platforms - The Common Application and The Coalition Application; test and implement. Provide process improvement and process design leadership with staff for effective and efficient usage of Slate. Provide all import and export functions for Slate and related systems like test score sources, student search, marketing firms; ensure the accuracy of data flow between all systems. Stay current with Slate best practices and attend trainings as new features are available. Manage the annual cycle prep processes including all data fields, values, reports, queries, forms and applications . Provide regular data functions including duplicate record management, data integrity, data accuracy, system maintenance. Maintain applicant portals (Applicant Status, Admitted Student Website, Arts Supplement). Maintain and develop all Slate related documentation and training materials.
Key Skills / Requirements

    Experience with Technolutions Slate, required. High degree of comfort in Slate communications and marketing tools, form development, portal development, appointment and interview configuration, trips and travel configuration, self-service management, Slate data visualizations and analytics, SFTP batch import/export, custom applications, read and review automation configuration, decision release and reply management. Experience with general system process assessment, design, and re-design. Excellent documentation skills. Highly developed writing and proofreading skills.
Preferred Qualifications

    High degree of comfort with technology and data management/manipulation. Experience with writing data expressions, including in SQL (preferred, but not required). Experience with other CRM systems (i.e., FrontRush). Familiar with Student Financial Aid systems, such as PowerFAIDs. Knowledge of third-party application platforms (e.g., Coalition, Common App). Relevant technology experience that demonstrates a working knowledge of systems, data analysis and/or higher education admissions operations.

Remote/hybrid work environment may be an option for this position.
