The Jess and Mildred Fisher College of Science and Mathematics invites applications for a renewable, non-tenure track, 10-month Lecturer position in the Department of Chemistry beginning August 2021.
QualificationsPhD degree in organic chemistry, or a closely related field is required. Applicants should possess a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, and an interest in organic lab curriculum development.
ResponsibilitiesA typical teaching load is 24 contact hours (8 courses)/year, with primary teaching responsibilities in both organic chemistry laboratory and lecture. This position will assist in ongoing efforts to update our organic curriculum. The term of the position is initially for 1 year and renewable thereafter for 1 to 3 year terms.
