JOB DESCRIPTION

The University of Indianapolis is accepting applications for a Campus Visit Experience Manager. This is a full-time, exempt staff position. The Campus Visit Experience Manager’s primary function is to facilitate an authentic, engaging, and impactful visit experience for prospective students, families and other guests. The Manager will design and coordinate campus recruitment events, tours, and information sessions. This position will supervise and mentor a cohort of student employees who are a part of the Student Ambassador Visit team. The campus visit experience at the University of Indianapolis takes a highly individualized and personalized approach to showcasing the University. The campus visit program plays a vital role in the success of the Office of Admission.



RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and manages strategic visit experience programs and events that support the attainment of enrollment goals for the Office of Admission
  • Designs, coordinates, implements & assesses large-scale in person and virtual events for prospective students, confirming that all events and staff assignments are accurately reflected internally and externally
  • Designs and oversees daily campus tours and special/group tours hosted by the Office of Admission
  • Planning, implementation, and oversight of daily visit options which include virtual and in-person information sessions
  • Manages campus tour process during on-campus Admissions events
  • Designs Student Ambassador program
  • Manages hiring process for Student Ambassadors
  • Supervises and mentors Student Ambassadors who serve as tour guides and admission assistants
  • Assists with operations of the Admissions Office Welcome Center
  • Implements and executes strategic virtual programming for respective constituent groups to showcase the university
  • Develops effective processes and delegate tasks to execute positive and successful events/visits for campus visitors
  • Prepares, interprets and analyzes events budget and manages resources related to the campus visit experience effectively
  • Prepares reports and analyze data related to campus visit programs and events to determine new strategies to enhance the yield from the campus visit experiences
  • Collaborates with a wide range of faculty, staff, current students and parents to ensure a dynamic and engaging experience for varying audiences
  • Collaborates on the use of the events and visits module in Slate (CRM) and continuously improves and refines visit scheduling and visit communication process
  • Delivers exceptional first-class customer service while working in a competitive and fast-paced environment
  • Maintains positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating effectively with students, students’ parents, faculty, co-workers, and managers


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • At least one year of demonstrated leadership and or professional experience working with high school or college students (experience gained while working as a college student will be considered) is required
  • One year of experience working in a customer service oriented environment is required
  • Prior experience organizing collaborative events and/or meetings in a professional setting is required
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate articulately and effectively is required
  • Proven ability to set work priorities, manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while meeting goals and deadlines required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and critical thinking abilities are required
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently required
  • Enthusiasm for working with students and representing the University of Indianapolis is essential
  • Must have a valid driver's license or the ability to obtain a driver's license by the employment start date, and possess a clean or acceptable driving record according to University policy
  • The ability to work night and weekend hours is required
