Job Summary

The Office of Communications and Marketing in the College of Sciences and Mathematics is seeking candidates for a Multimedia Specialist I/II. This position will serve the College by developing collateral to help execute the brand of Auburn University and the College of Sciences and Mathematics ( COSAM ).

Essential Functions

This position will be responsible for developing materials for our college including brochures, fact sheets, flyers, postcards, and print requests. The candidate must be able to request printing bids, seek university approval for files and approve proofs. In addition, the candidate will execute proper use of the Auburn University brand. The successful candidate will work with the team in the Office of Communications and Marketing, offer suggestions and brainstorm ideas while contributing to a positive work environment.

• A great eye for design
• Experience with the Adobe suite of products including InDesign and Photoshop
• Initiative to take the lead on a project and transform an idea into a draft print piece
• Creative thinking skills and desire to think outside of the box
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects
• Experience with project management or job folders
• Willingness to collaborate and discuss ideas with team members
• Design file organization skills
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
