Job Summary
Auburn University School of Nursing is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Coordinator, Student Services. This position is an administrative-professional position reporting to the Director of Academic Advising.
Essential Functions
- Coordinate projects, programs, and activities as related to Nursing Student Services.
- May assist and advise students with academic related issues such as but not limited to, University or SON policies and procedures, course selection, supplemental instruction, registration, scholarship opportunities and processes.
- Recruits or coordinates the recruitment of students for programs or projects.
- Coordinates the development and preparation of informational materials relevant to students such as Camp War Eagle, brochures given to parents and students.
- Website updates.
- Assist in monitoring retention of pre-nursing students and plan strategies to provide help to at risk students.
- Oversee admission and advising of enrolled RN- BSN and Concurrent BSN Students
- Develop strategic partnerships with hospital and community colleges to encourage enrollment in RN- BSN and Concurrent BSN programs.
- Acts as a liaison to Auburn Online, overseeing all on line applications.
- Coordinates process for awarding scholarships.
- Serve as advisor to Nursing Ambassadors, who assist with recruiting and events.
- Coordinate activities and meet with prospective students and families.
- Other job duties as assigned.

Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
Field of Study
Degree must be in Education, Communications, Counseling, Business, Psychology, or related field.

Level II: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution plus 2 years’ experience in advising and/or coordinating student services or experience related to the specific academic area.
Salary Range: $35,000 – $58,400
