Position Summary:
An EKU Construction and Repair Tech I assists the craft foreman and structural supervisor in implementing and completing assigned work orders including, but not limited to construction, demolition, removal, cleanup, and repair as well as assisting other areas of facilities services as needed.


Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED


Minimum Experience:
Two (2) years experience in construction or vocational training.

Job Functions:
Under guidance help facilitate construction, renovation, and general repair projects for university programs as it relates to the actual facility
Complete the installation part of the project which may include
Assists others in the processing of general work orders and assisting with other facilities service areas in completion of their work orders as it relates to his/her job
Maintain records of time, materials and resources according to established procedures
