Lecturer/Assistant Athletic Trainer

Teach undergraduate courses as assigned by the Department of Kinesiology Chair; serves as a preceptor in a CAATE-accredited AT Program; provides daily medical care for assigned teams to include all team activities and associated travel, including nights and weekends; maintain appropriate electronic medical records; supervise graduate assistant athletic trainers; carry out administrative and other duties as assigned by the Dept. Chair or the Senior Associate Athletics Director.
Minimum Training and Experience Requirements: Applicant must hold a Master’s degree in athletic training, a sub discipline of Kinesiology, or a closely related field of study; 1-3 years of athletic training experience working with collegiate athletes and teaching experience, preferred.
Licenses and Certifications: Must have BOC certification and current CPR/AED certification; must be eligible by August 2021 or hold a current North Carolina athletic training license through NCBATE.
