Description
The Department of Economics seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/non-tenured positions to teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Positions are not available every semester and are contingent upon student enrollment and the availability of funding. Appointments are usually made on a semester-by-semester basis, though sometimes there is departmental need for an annual appointment. Positions are renewable annually; contingent upon budgetary funding and performance. Appointees are expected to be excellent classroom teachers, engaged in scholarly activities and service.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a PhD in Economics. Salary is highly competitive and dependent upon qualifications and experience. Background check will be conducted for finalists. Position funding is pending budgetary approval, course availability and enrollment.
