The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin will fill positions as needed, at the rank of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, to teach courses within the undergraduate and graduate Electrical and Computer engineering curriculum. Full and part-time positions may become available, contingent upon curriculum needs, student enrollment and the availability of funding. These positions may not be available every year. Appointments are usually made on a semester-by-semester basis. Positions are annually renewable, contingent on funding and performance. Salary: Dependent on position and qualifications.


A PhD in engineering or a related field is required, but exceptions can be made for applicants with a Master's degree and pertinent expertise and work experience. Previous teaching and/or training experience is preferred. Industry work experience is considered an advantage. Applicants will need expertise and desire to teach in various areas of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
