Vacancy Number: S-00732 Position Title: Working Warhawk II - Dining Student Leader Classification Title: Department: Dining Services Employment Type: Part-Time Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties can include:
Preparing food, cooking, serving, cleaning and general duties to maintain campus dining services.
Maintain a neat, tidy, and uniformed appearance; including slip resistant shoes, name tag, and provided Café shirt
Maintain a positive attitude and represent the university in a professional manner
Attend all mandatory in-services and training
Follow procedures set forth in the employee handbook, as well as all departmental and university policies
Act as a shift leader to other student employees
Escalate situations to Dining Management Leaders
Provide on the job training to new student employees to include tour of the facilities, working point of sale system, understanding procedures and operations, and demonstrating the use of shift note (scheduling tool)
Assist Dining Management Leaders with month end inventory
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrated leadership skills
Strong problem solving skills
Strong customer service mindset
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a currently enrolled student at Auburn University at Montgomery to apply.
This position requires work outside of normal business hours (8 am – 5 pm), including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
