 The Department of Politics, University of Dallas, invites applications for the position of Affiliate Assistant Professor. The appointment is for one year and the teaching load is 3:3. There is a possibility, although no guarantee, that the position will be renewed.  



In addition to the core curriculum, the successful candidate will contribute to the department’s upper-level course offerings. Applicants with the competence to teach Principles of American Politics, Enlightenment and Liberal Democracy and a course or two on American political institutions, especially public policy, political parties and/or Congress, are encouraged to indicate this competence as part of their application. 



Applicants must have a doctorate in politics, or at a minimum, complete all requirements for the doctoral degree prior to the beginning of employment, August 18, 2021.
