Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach/Residence Life Coordinator

Job Description

The Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach reports directly to the head Women’s Lacrosse coach. Will also serve as Residence Life Coordinator ( RLC ) and will report to Residence Life for those responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working with the head coach in directing all phases of a NCAA Division II program, organizing and supervising all practices and games, recruiting, sport-specific training and skill instruction. Responsibilities also include other duties as assigned by the head coach, such as oversight of a specific position group, team travel coordination and academic support services.

Works proactively and collaboratively with Residence Life to schedule responsibilities during championship and non-championship seasons. Responsibilities surrounding practices and competition will be prioritized during championship lacrosse season (January – June).

As the Residence Life Coordinator ( RLC ), you will hire, train, and supervise Resident Assistants, and hourly hall staff; oversees occupancy, key tracking, and hall equipment for designated buildings; provides on-call emergency assistance during non-championship lacrosse season (July – December).; develops and oversees educational programs for residence hall students; serves as a student conduct officer for incidents not involving student-athletes for their sport; and assists with recruitment and enrollment events.
The RLC is expected to live in campus housing.
This is a part-time, year round RLC position. The combination RLC /Assistant Coach position works collaboratively with another combination position to provide full-time oversight for the assigned buildings.
The Residence Life Coordinator reports to the Director of Housing and Residence Life

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and collegiate coaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree as well as college student personnel ( CSP ) experience preferred.

Physical Demands

Medium work; exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
