Position Summary

The Office of Advancement Services is seeking a high energy, results-oriented professional with demonstrated success at building solid relationships as the Manager of Advancement Information, Systems and Analytics. The successful candidate will assist the Director of Advancement Services & Donor Communications to achieve the fundraising goals of the University Advancement Division. The bulk of the workload consists of managing web based fundraising products and custom applications including using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, MySQL, Ajax and other web languages. This also includes developing mass emails to internal and external constituents and creating donation forms and event registration pages. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist in maintaining the Advancement database (Raiser’s Edge) by performing data integrity/confidentiality procedures. This includes extracting data and developing reports from the database.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or other related field. Two years of experience in information technology or related computing knowledge equivalency. Experience working with diverse populations.
Successful performance in an interview and passing a criminal background check.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge Database and RE NXT
Experience with Blackbaud’s Net Community and Online Express Platforms
Experience with Mass Email CMS (MailChip; Constant Contact, etc.)
Ability to initialize and operate computer hardware (including a server) and software systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to work independently and provide leadership to a team
