Qualifications:
General Chemistry I Lab (Chem 009) accompanies Chemistry 008 lecture. The lab develops introductory chemistry lab skills, safety practices, and qualitative and quantitative laboratory skills, including laboratory techniques (e.g. use of pipets, burets, balances), practice in the treatment of experimental data, representation of precision and accuracy, graphical analysis of experimental data, and scientific inquiry through hypothesis-driven experimentation.

This lab meets in person on Wednesday from 2:45 - 6:45 pm during the 2021 fall Term.

Candidates must have an M.S. or Ph.D. in a relevant area of chemistry, should have a successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level in chemistry and familiarity with online/hybrid instruction.
