About the Opportunity:
Northeastern University's Seattle Regional Campus seeks a motivated and adaptable individual to serve as Director of Strategic Partnerships. Working with the Dean and other senior staff, the Director will represent the University in the greater Seattle community and build working partnerships that facilitate achieving strategic goals set by the campus.

You will be valued, respected, and empowered to create educational and professional opportunities for our learners that address workforce needs of regional employers.

  • The ideal candidate is a reflective self-starter who enjoys working in a dynamic environment with a wide variety of stakeholders, with a proven ability to motivate others without formal authority.

  • Mission-driven, fueled by a desire to make education accessible and inclusive.

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

  • Proven track record of developing successful strategic partnerships in the field of technology and education, with an emphasis on workforce development, corporate learning & development, and/or business partnership development.

  • Advanced understanding of workforce needs and trends in the greater Puget Sound regions. Existing relationships with employers aligned with Northeastern's focus areas is a strong asset.

  • Organizational tact and diplomacy; possesses superb interpersonal skills required to develop close relationships with external partners and key influencers around campus and the broader university.

  • Demonstrated ability to build internal and external collaborations, finding solutions benefiting all parties and focusing on long-term success over short-term results.
