About the Opportunity:
Northeastern University's Seattle Regional Campus seeks a motivated and adaptable individual to serve as Director of Strategic Partnerships. Reporting directly to the Dean & CEO of the Seattle Campus, and serving as a member of the campus leadership team, the Director will play a hands-on, executive-level role, serving as a strategist, advisor, and executor to develop innovative initiatives and partnerships that better connect the Seattle regional campus with the employment and entrepreneurship ecosystem of the Puget Sound region. Working with the Dean and other senior staff, the Director will represent the University in the greater Seattle community and build working partnerships that facilitate achieving strategic goals set by the campus.

This is a highly collaborative role and you'll become part of a diverse team that respects individual talents and values collective accomplishments. You will be valued, respected, and empowered to create educational and professional opportunities for our learners that address workforce needs of regional employers.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate is a reflective self-starter who enjoys
working in a dynamic environment with a wide variety of
stakeholders, with a proven ability to motivate others without
formal authority.
- Mission-driven, fueled by a desire to make education accessible
and inclusive.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record of developing successful strategic
partnerships in the field of technology and education, with an
emphasis on workforce development, corporate learning &
development, and/or business partnership development.
- Advanced understanding of workforce needs and trends in the
greater Puget Sound regions. Existing relationships with employers
aligned with Northeastern's focus areas is a strong asset.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant work experience, including
previous experience developing business partnerships.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate multiple
tasks while delivering the highest level of customer service.
- Highly developed communication skills (written & verbal);
superior skills in corporate outreach and business
development.
- Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to work
independently and make decisions in a timely manner based on
thoughtful analysis and critical judgment.
- Organizational tact and diplomacy; possesses superb
interpersonal skills required to develop close relationships with
external partners and key influencers around campus and the broader
university.
- Demonstrated ability to build internal and external
collaborations, finding solutions benefiting all parties and
focusing on long-term success over short-term results.
- Ability to serve as an ambassador for Northeastern in the
region, representing the Dean and campus strategic interests when
appropriate.
- Experience with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and/or
other CRM systems/processes
