Coastal Carolina University invites applications for a full-time tenure track position in recreation and sport management at the Assistant Professor level.
The primary responsibilities of the position include (i) teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, including, but not limited to, Marketing and Promotion in Recreation and Sport Management, Recreation and Sport Leadership, Field Experience in Recreation and Sport Management, and Internship in Recreation and Sport Management; (ii) advising undergraduate and graduate students; (iii) mentoring undergraduate and graduate student research; (iv) establishing a record of scholarship and professional service/outreach; (v) committing to program assessment and accreditation; and (vi) and collaborating with related academic programs.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Sport Management or a closely related discipline. In addition, candidates must have excellence in teaching, evidence of scholarly productivity, and community/public engagement.
