Gordon College is seeking an inaugural Program
Director to launch and lead a new Master of
Public Health (MPH) program. The Gordon College MPH
program places emphasis on public
health leadership, with a particular application to
faith-based communities. The MPH program
includes a core set of fundamental public health
courses, a practicum series that provides real world
exposure to the field and has two initial tracks:
public health leadership and health policy
and administration. The Gordon College MPH program
intends to preserve a small student-to faculty
ratio, allowing all students to develop relationships
with faculty for a well-rounded
mentoring experience.
Under the supervision of the Vice President for
Academic Initiatives, the Director will be
responsible for strategic planning and oversight of
the MPH program, including the recruitment
of students and faculty, development of a practicum
program, assessing the curriculum, fostering
key relationships with public health, faith-based and
community organizations, establishing
partnership agreements for practicums, and exploring
and developing expansion opportunities.
We invite qualified applicants with the initiative
and vision to passionately lead a new academic
program within a well-established, top Christian
college grounded in the liberal arts.
