Portland State University’s School of Business invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track Supply Chain Management faculty member starting September 16, 2021. Requirements for the position include: (1) a Ph.D. or doctorate in supply chain management or related field (advanced ABDs will be considered); (2) recent experience and demonstrated effectiveness teaching supply chain-related and data science-related courses; (3) technical experience working with R programming language, data science/visualization methods, Tableau; (4) recent record of scholarship (e.g., publications or conferences) in supply-chain related topics; (5) willingness to teach in different modalities and at the undergraduate and graduate levels, if needed; (6) at least one year of industry experience in supply-chain related position. Industry experience working with transportation, vendor-related aspects, or data science applications is a plus. In addition, the School seeks candidates whose research, teaching, service, or background has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education.
