Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering

The Department of Engineering and Computer Science at Tarleton State University invites applications for an Assistant Professor position (tenure track) in Mechanical Engineering, with an effective start date of Sept. 1, 2021. We are offering both BS and MS programs in Mechanical Engineering on the Stephenville campus, and this position will require teaching courses in both.

Applicants must have an earned PhD in Mechanical Engineering, conferred by the date of hire. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate excellence and innovation in teaching, research, and mentoring engineering undergraduate and master’s students, and must take an active role in ABET accreditation-related tasks and other institutional service activities.
