Purpose of Position

The purpose of this position is to manage and advise the Panhellenic and Inter-Fraternal Councils at Northern Kentucky University.

Primary Responsibilities

This position will oversee both councils and will work closely with the Assistant Director of Multicultural Programming who advises MGC and NPHC . This person will supervise the Panhellenic and IFC presidents and the FSL intern.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of higher education experience in Fraternity and Sorority Life advising student organizations.

Must have a willingness to make decisions and exhibit sound and accurate judgement.

Strong mentoring and coaching skills and an ability to foster teamwork.

Must be able to prepare and present special projects with little or no supervision or oversight.

Ability to meet deadlines.

Must have effective interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate professionally both orally and in writing.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products as well as social media platforms.

Experience with student organization management platforms to manage chapter rosters and academic reports.

Displays an ability to learn rapidly and adapt quickly to changing situations. Can work with events involving multiple parties and ability to deal with frequent change.
