The Humanities and Communication Department at Embry-Riddle
Aeronautical University is seeking a non-tenure-track visiting
instructor to teach writing-intensive courses on our Daytona Beach
campus, beginning fall semester 2021. The position includes a 5-5
teaching load, consisting primarily of technical report writing and
freshman composition, with no expectations of service or
The ideal candidate will have a track record of teaching
excellence, a commitment to general education, and particular
interest in the unique opportunity to teach writing at a
STEM-oriented institution. Applicants should hold either an M.A.,
M.F.A., or a Ph.D in technical writing, English, composition,
communication, or a closely-related discipline and have experience
teaching college-level writing.
